Accuracy depends on your device's GPS hardware. Most smartphones have 1Hz GPS (one update per second), which typically provides timing accuracy within 1-2 seconds. For best results, ensure you have a clear view of the sky and mount your device securely. Devices with higher GPS update rates will deliver more precise timing.

Does xracing work at any track?

Yes! xracing works at any track worldwide. You can use existing tracks from our database or create your own custom track by simply driving the layout. The app automatically detects the start/finish line and records your laps.

Is xracing free to use?

Yes, xracing is completely free to download and use. All core features including GPS lap timing, leaderboards, and social features are available at no cost.

What devices are supported?

xracing is available for both iOS (iPhone) and Android devices. For the best experience, we recommend using a device with a quality GPS receiver. The app requires iOS 15.3+ or Android 7.0+ (API level 24).

How do leaderboards work?

Each track has its own leaderboard where racers compete for the fastest lap times. Your best lap is automatically submitted when you complete a session. You can view global rankings, see how you compare to friends, and track your progress over time.
